It's available as one of the 144 extensions, it's not the same as the
default Google search box and adds *almost* all the same features as the
IE original:

Pagerank is missing from the Firebird version I'm using (it may have
been updated since then), but I got Firebird for tabbed browsing and
pagerank doesn't matter much for me, I don't look at that green bar even
when I do happen to be using IE.
