Hello there everyone.
I find myself feeling rather inarticulate when trying to explain to my clients *why* they should care about having a site with valid code. In emails I find myself copying and pasting from different resources. . . . in phone conversations I find myself using different reasons each time. . .. and in the end, I'm finding it difficult to eloquently express to people who know (and care) little about HTML why they should care at all about valid code.
I would really like to have a stock/standard list of reasons I can provide to clients.
Does anyone know of a great URL to which I can send clients when they ask me "Why should I care what my code looks like when my pages look okay??" I know of several pages, actually, but I'm looking for something SIMPLE (a bulleted list with short explanations would be very nice) so that people with little web/internet/html knowledge can go "AH-HA! I get it now!! I want you to build my site using valid code!"
Or perhaps someone out there already has a nice, simple-English list that they use . . . and that they'd like to share?
