Of course you can control the upload, since this person is doing it
Just make sure that ONLY publish one page.
Its when all the _pvt and the _cnt folders and the htaccess filke get written to via FTP, that the extensions break.

The site is done in FrontPage and hosted on a server with FrontPage extensions. I know not to use ftp for the FP pages. But does it make a difference to the site if I ftp a page that is not done in FP? I have only one page in question. It is our activities page and putting it on our web site means we can both see and update it. My partner does not have FP and doesn't want to get involved in it. I was looking at this as a cheap and easy way to collaborate on one page. Right now we have a page with Yahoo Clubs but to update the document you have to download, edit and upload it again. It is a pain. You also cannot view it online--you have to download the page.
I have looked into some other ideas such as ProjectForum and Collaborate. But they are expensive or have other limitations. This seemed like such a good compromise.
So the big question is -- will one page published via the Mozilla publish feature really ruin the entire site?
