FrontPage has a message board as one of the preconfigured templates. If a blog would work for you then the discussion board is pretty close to a blog.
Put it in a FP subweb and depending on the options you host gives you it can have separate permissions from the main web and that way only you and your partner can use it. Cheryl D.
