I'm puzzled by the used vehicle search. Why split the results up into groups of 10 if they are all going to be shown on the same page? It looks as though you were going to show 10 at a time with a 'next'/'previous' and changed your mind? I just can't see a reason for splitting them into table 1, table 2 etc Still on the search the make and model of each car for sale are underlined links, but I wasn't sure what to expect by clicking on them: clicking a 'Toyota' link I might have expected it would take me to a page about Toyota, no description what the link does Bad Jac, click on 'Toyota', then 'Avensis', then 'Toyota' again, now I have 3 popup windows open (2 behind the main one), not reusing the same one and bringing it to the front. Person looks at details of a dozen cars has a lot of window shutting to do after leaving the site. Perhaps something like an onBlur window close could be a plan...Location maps don't self close either, or have a 'close window' or 'print' button. Aside note about forms. Why do people put in the 'reset' button? Have you ever filled in loads of a form and thought, Oops the whole thing is wrong, I want to reset it and start again? Ha!! A mistake!!! on the Book A Service page, in the text, which is *below* the form, it says "Please use the form below to book or enquire online". And on same page "Extensive warranties apply to new and qualifying used vehicles so that in the extremely and unlikely event of a problem arising " - the 'and' shouldn't be there, or a 'rare' should be after 'extremely'. On the service booking form you have 'Title' drop down with only 3 options, Mr, Mrs and Ms. I guess priests, doctors, etc don't drive Toyotas so no need for Fr, Mgr, Dr or any of that nonsense we usually cover with 'Other' :o) It's not that I have time on my hands, you understand, I am just putting off the evil moment when I have to start tiling the floor! but as I am now beginning to get the black looks I guess I had better quit the nit picking and make a start <sigh> Oh on the new Toyota Hilux details, apparently new lower valence panels complement the thrusting bonnet, or hood for American readers. I have to point out that 'valance' is the correct term and 'valence' is something you learn about in chemistry, "The combining capacity of an atom or radical determined by the number of electrons that it will lose, add, or share when it reacts with other atoms." I don't believe the Toyota panel has any less electrons to share, do you? <gdar> ____ The WDVL Discussion List from WDVL.COM ____ To Join wdvltalk, Send An Email To: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Send Your Posts To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To set a personal password send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the words: "set WDVLTALK pw=yourpassword" in the body of the email.
