That is one of the amazing things, Cheryl, it doesn't seem to be on the add/remove list. Search won't turn messenger up either. I've just put in blinkx and that doesn't seem able to find it.
OH!! silly silly me (I've been concentrating on the css for my site among other things - well that's my excuse). OK I think I have done the right things, but MS doesn't tell you if it has installed or uninstalled the windows stuff. If I read aright messenger was not installed anyway! I had kept setting use blank for the homepage and that brings a blank after a restart, but each time after a second restart up comes msn. So I've done a blank, and then followed your tip to use current. I'll let you know if that doesn't work. And now I have (I think) uninstalled msn browser. As for the foam, it may have come from that beverage!
