I found that, after hooking up an external hard drive on my PC, Norton Disk Doctor scans that too, whether I ask it to or not. Have you added anything or are you connected wirelessly to another computer? How many programs is Speed Disk set up to move? The default is 50. I set mine up to only move the 25 used most often and that seemed to help.
