Sounds as though an installer is operating at start up: Can you check to see
whether you can disable it from running at start up [Go to systems tools and
see what you have running on start up]

Failing that, check your registry entries and if you know the time/date it
appeared and you have a new entry corresponding to that time, then delete
that entry whatever it is called - a registry cleaner should be able to do
that safely for you, I seem to recall you have one installed......
