[wdvltalk] Microsoft Index Server & Win2003

Has anyone written a search engine interface for Microsoft's Index 
Server?  Or, know of one that can be had for free?

I have a customer who currently has their site on a Windows NT 4.0 server 
and they are using the old,  Microsoft provided search engine for Index 
Server.  They will be upgrading to Windows 2003 and the old ASP code will 
not work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
