I've been using BBEdit mostly because it seemed like a solid application,
and it's FTP support works great. I just downloaded SKEdit a few hours
ago, and it seems to work pretty well too. I'm bummed that it only has
support for SFTP and not regular FTP. This pretty much makes it unusable
for me, as I FTP files back and forth with several servers here at work,
and I can't be without an editor with that capability integrated. I just
emailed back and forth with the SKEdit developer Sean Kelly, he said
regular FTP support would be integrated for SKEdit v 3.6, though I'm not
sure when that will be coming out.

Hmm... I know they don't advertise it, but I guessed it was just an undocumented feature, cause I'm using it to FTP back and forth between two of my sites. I don't use it much, since it can't synchronize FTP directories with local ones (Transmit 3 serves well enough there)... So. yeah. that's weird. I'd give it a whirl anyway, because it works just fine for me. I'm stuck at work for another hour on Winblows, but I'll be home and on my Mac soon enough and I'll do more testing.

As far as Eclipse goes, I did install the PHPEclipse bits a few days ago,
it seems to work well from the small amount of testing I did, but again,
without really good integrated FTP support, I'm kinda sunk :(

Mmm... I've installed FTP and WebDav from home on Mac, but I'm not getting any clues from here... let me take a look in a bit and I'll let you know my results.

Stephen
