As part of setting up zencart some directories have to be given chmod 777.
I do not seem able to access localhost via ftp. (And I think I've done
all the obvious things
checked username and p/w
looked at http.conf
accessed via browser (ftp: not successful)
accessed phpmyadmin (working ok)
used SmartFTP
torn out a few clumps of hair
- but the message is '...active refusal...')
Is there another way to do chmod (I've tried clearing 'read only' via
Windows Explorer, but it doesn't work) or is there some trick I might have
missed?
