Hi all, I've got a friend who's just getting into web design and is looking for a tutorial-oriented book to help get his feet wet. I'd definitely like to get him started out right, so nothing that promotes table based layouts or runs from web standards in general like roaches with the lights on. XHTML with CSS for presentation that's of the 'learn by example' persuasion.
Any suggestions?
