Yeah, a site check! It's been a while since anyone has posted for this. Overall, I like the design. It's not typical, so that's nice. I like how the logo and menu load.
To me the flash below the menu gets annoying. One time through is more than enough. Plus the flickering when it switches to the next view really gets to my eyes. I wouldn't be able to stay on this site very long, at least not on the home page. The flash is also a bit larger than the box it's suppose to be in. It hangs a hair lower than the box. I don't care for using centered text for much more than a heading. So, if it were up to me, I'd pad the boxes and left align the 'login' and 'register for services' blurbs. I'd also make the input boxes the same size for the User ID and Password and line them up evenly - maybe just do a simple right align. Is there going to be alternative linking? A site map? The site is a bit dark, what about using more than one shade of gray? I'd go a shade or two lighter for your main content areas and leave the menu and footer dark gray. Q: Why include the technology news headlines? Would people come to your site to get the latest news? Or are they coming to your site to learn about your business and what it can do for them? If you'd like to be able to show potential clients that you can offer them this on their sites you could use it in a sample of your work instead.
