Dear Hardnose Tim ;-) ,

The fact that so many programs have spell checkers today makes it even more inexcusable. I heard from a HR person once that, when they post a job, if any of the resumes have typos or spelling mistakes on them (in the cover letter), they don't even bother looking at the resume. They toss it right away.

I've been shopping online for years, and if they can't spell something
right, I don't buy from them unless they're the sole source and I gotta
have it. If they can't spell correctly, they probably can't pack it
correctly either, and they for sure can't service it correctly.
Spelling and grammar on a website are such small, simple things to do
well that there's no excuse for doing them any other way.
