I don't think the SQL would be very difficult at all with that :-) If you wanted to bypass the database you could create a flat file (not the best way by a long shot) or maybe XML
I would guess that the site does have a database as osCommerce must surely use a DB I think the XML would be the trickiest (depending on how well you know XML) but favoured option over a flat file (which, in this instance, probably wouldn't work) If you are so inclined you could always try Zen Cart and heavily template it...
