Wow - I don't know what energy you put in that but it wiped the whole
sidebar!! ;-)
I can see it ought to work. The script uses <--subscribe2--> to put the
form into each blog and that works when I do it. But I would imagine there
is no great problem in putting the form in the sidebar --- except I am
meeting a great problem.
I tried that path in the ssi include as well but it just does nothing; and
that bit of php [there are plenty other bits of php in the file] seems no
different to the others.
I'll go back to putting the form on each blog, I think.
I had to abandon feedBlitz because it stole the feed and I couldn't offer
rss, so this is about running my own mail list.

The above should get it for you.
You have to come up out of your current directory, then down into
the directory that has your include file.
