I want to keep all my images called in the css except the small logo
for handheld devices that dont use css
I apologise for the huge strain I have put on everyones mailservers
and have decided to omit the punctuation from this message in order
to redress the balance a bit
all the images on the page are called using the css it makes for
lighter HTML and means i only have to update the css to change
graphics site-wide
i will just quickly point out the irony in lecturing on text
readability whilst using possibly the most unreadable font ive ever
seen used on a web page at

valid code doesnt have to mean unusable poorly designed websites

I think you were unnecessarily aggressive and unhelpful and were

BTW, in your source, I see the following:
<div id="footer"></div>
What footer is there to disappear? I don't have XP booted, but I think
I'd try putting at least or a CRLF in that div to start
with, if
not the image you now have in the background. Why shouldn't that image
be foreground when there's no other content in the div?
