If the form-filler is doing cut and paste he /she /it may be
pasting the wrong cut. I have... err... that is to say I
have known people to cut the wrong thing, or for the cut action
to not enter the clipboard. If they are using a clipboard
extension or a program with clip storage they may be just
choosing the wrong thing.
On forms with small entry boxes it may not be obvious to the
form-filler as most of the content will be out of sight.

In the actual form field. Normally, the field just says "John
Smith" (or whatever.) There is another field for the e-mail
address. I also have a JavaScript on the page to make sure
there are no empty fields, so it is weird that the second field
didn't come through - only the one that I sent.
