Peter - one more thing I forgot to add earlier
that you might want to try. When I upgraded my
hosting acct from shared to VPS I had to udpate
all mail settings. What I mean by this is on
shared my username was "username". Well on the
VPS I must use my complete eMail addy for my
user name. So instead of just entering
"username" (no quotes) into the username field,
I had to change everything over to use my full
eMail addy "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" Also, I
had to change all passwords to more secure
passwords. Some people use very simple pw's and
some servers will reject them and require more secure pw's.
I apologize that I didn't think to add this
earlier. This might be the first thing they try
as it's a few less steps than the other option.
