If you use the internet in the UK, you've used Telehouse. It's basically a massive datacentre in the Docklands area of London where all the OC3-fibre connects for the UK to the world terminate. If that goes, so does most of the internet in the UK. There are a few other places you can connect to the outside world from, but not many...
