On the Mac -- I have several files open at one time -- but only one
"instance" of Word. Same with Photoshop. Pagemaker.

But I can have more than one copy of SimpleText open. Again - weird.

W/Netscape, I just open a new browser window (command-n) on the Mac -- and
if I'm in Eudora -- and click a link -- it just opens in the current
browser.

One thing I do prefer about Win95-- I can have NN3 and NN4 both open at the
same time. One the Mac, I get a "you can only run one copy of Navigator -
this copy will quit now" error.

But my "network" is me. Michael's explanation about my giving the computer
multiple tasks made sense to me, though -- thank you Michael!
