I tried on a Hitachi 4140. A 5.0 update from CD-ROM did get the drivers
working. 5.1 did not go. I suspect the CD-ROM drive can't reliably read
the new CD-ROM, yet can read the older CD-ROM's. Also, we get a "header
2" error on the second floppy with both 5.1 and 5.0.
I did do it on a Cannon Innovabook 150C, using pcmcia SCSI and LAN
cards. But I just can't get it to run right again! (Suspect the
occasional Wondoze use screwed the interrupt settings or something.)
Neither of these seems to run X properly! And I am supposed to get
the Canon ready as a gift for my father...
