I run Linux on most of my other machines. If I go with anything else,
it will probably be Sun Solaris for the x86 to get additional familiarity
with it. I like Linux better, but only because I know it better.
Installing it on my Father's machine, however, would leave me too confused
when I try to work on things on that machine remotely via the net.
