Thanks for the info. I've been debating the switch to/addition of Linux for
a few years and, due to lazinest and fear of compatability with the M$
software I use, I didn't ever get it. 

Now after going through the articles at anchordesk and following the links
to redhat.com and freeBSD.org, I'm going for it. The Unix System V release
4 manual that's been sitting here a few years just may come in handy after
all. The second hard drive is cleared off and awaiting the new operating
system.

I used to despise Window$ and still find non-GUI interfaces run faster and
are more reliable. Can Red Hat really make a dent in M$'s future sales?
According to Jesse Berst and others, it's very possible. Even Adaptec has
proclaimed Linux as their operating system.

Ho HO Ho it's off to the Linus Store I go.  C-ya!
