Even though I'm not a FrontPage user, I'll take a stab at this one.
FrontPage writes a lot of non-standard proprietary code which most likely
is only going to work in FrontPage's own preview mode or when it's posted
on a server running FrontPage extensions.
I think I'm safe in assuming that many folks on the list would agree with
me in recommending that you avoid depending too heavily on *any* editor in
general, and on FP in particular. FP because of the propriety code
problems. Editors in general are great as timesavers, but I think it's
imperative to learn enough HTML that when you experience problems like
yours, you can sort them out yourself. I would recommend Homesite as a good
PC-compatible editor that writes good, clean non-proprietary code. But even
with Homesite, I recommend that you learn HTML so you can troubleshoot your
own work.
