Hey:

I propose the DOJ stop with MS and Intel and go after companies
like HP, Olympus and others who introduce new products and force
a price fix situation on consumers.

One of our laser printers (Laser Series II) died so we started
looking for another one. We also need a new copier in that same
office. So we looked at the new HP 1170 or 1175 which is a
printer, copier, scanner and fax. Surprise of all surprises
**everybody** sells them for the same price! ($795 and $995
respectively). Now you would think that at least one discounter
would go against the tide eh? Price fixing.

Same held true at Christmas when I was looking for Olympus digital cameras.

Yes, I know they try to get what they can as long as they can.
But discounters are discounters, and I find it hard to believe
that they took it on themselves to sell full price.

Where is the DOJ when we need them?

George
