    And does not apply.

    Why?  because business is about people, and people are not standard.

    A guy with a chainsaw can only make so many unique pieces.  Thus, he
can not flood the market.  He can only inspire others to copy his idea of
marketing his wares.  Each will have unique styles.

    Exactly.  

    We will have the high volume low profit low price dealers, and we will
have the unique wares folks. The web means they don't have to do
mall-shows and crafts fairs anymore.  At that point, the craft market will
explode with really unique ideas.
