Hi, Hmm, I just noticed that http://www.cnet.com did a redesign of their site...and that they went for a non-fixed width table layout. Interesting. I was wondering how long they would stick with their previous format. I thought the list down the left hand side was getting so big that it barely got used by anyone. I found it a bit daunting. Anyone have any links to stories about the decision process behind the interface change? Oh, and, hmmm, it looks suspiciously like a "portal".
