suzanne -- what exactly is the problem? is someone sending her attachments
that are garbled? [I know AOL folks have trouble sometimes with
attachments.]

I think the problem can also be on the "sending" end -- but one way to get
around it -- is to zip or stuff the file before attaching. I think that
resolves the unencoding issue.
