Ah, I must admit, having ridden on the back of a motor cycle twice,
(the second time only because for the return trip I had the choice of guys
with a car and beer, or my sober and cautious friend with the motorcycle,)
I find the level of physical risk taking too extreme for my taste.
Bicycles, yes; motorcycles, no. I drive a large older model station
wagon, one that, although respectable, is not too likely to be stolen, say
vs a Lexus or Saturn. I am not a flashy type, just a good solid "suit";
and the only risks I take, are those with my reputation on seemingly
impossible projects. Haven't lost any of them yet... guess they weren't
impossible. All one has to do to solve most of them, is to sit down and
reflect upon them a while; something most don't care to do anymore.
I keep hoping that if I do enough projects, I will run into someone I
enjoy working with, and who enjoys working with me. For that is when you
really see whom you are dealing with, not on a date when everyone is on
their best behavior, trying to meet unrealistic personal expectations.
