NOTE: this site took a very long time to load off of a highspeed LAN --
you might want to check your server, I had download times of 200-300
(s-l-o-w)

Suzanne et al -- I've just run into this same problem using Communicator
for the Mac on a site I'm working on. For some reason, the preload isn't
working.

This experience (? for images) was evident using XWindows emulation and
NN3.0.


I'm not providing solutions -- just clarifying where problem manifests.
