The max allowable by the search engines is 250. The max number of
like-keywords is -recommended- at three. That's because of the varying
regulations of the different engines. Some allow up to 7 repetitions while
others, like AltaVista, consider more than three "keyword spamming" and you
will either be bumped to the bottom of the list or in serious cases, banned
from listing there.
