Brent, ol' pal, it sure is nice to have you back even if you are a
wise-ass. I think you're just envious because  this week it's *you* who has
the Javascript problem :)  I actually have plenty of Javascript problems
too, but Joe Gillespie is helping me off list because I'm using a script
that he wrote.  So don't feel too bad -- I'm suffering on all fronts,
leading-edge and plain vanilla too.

Thanks, all of you, for your responses. I had to get away from the Mac for
a break and haven't tried them yet.

I just remembered this morning that Siegel describes the exact effect I'm
trying to create in his Creating Killer Web Sites book. He refers to it as
"Pull Quotes within Tables" where on http://www.dsiegel.com/balkanization/
he has half an image in one cell and the other half in the next cell, with
his text wrapping around the right half of the image. I'm not trying to do
pull quotes, but rather a split-in-half photographic image with type
wrapped around it, but the effect is exactly the same.
