The gnashing of teeth has come here from those who don't want SO of the
opposite gender attending meetings ... not the "guy off the street" per
se. <shrug>

Well, this /is/ Seattle <g> .... where gender-bending isn't as much of
an art form as in SF, but i sometimes think we're treating it like the
race where we are "#2"!
