Some times ago I've build up my first LAN at home (NT + W95).
Since it's very useful to be able to surf the internet with both I've
installed a proxy server (as suggested :-). I was using Front Page
Personal Web Server. But when I try to install ASP support the
installer
asked me for MS Web Peer Service. So I uninstalled PWS and
installed first
MSWPS and then ASP. The NT Workstation is running the server
and the
proxy. I can surf the internet and my personal web from my W95
machine but
I can't access password protected pages nor on the Internet neither
on my
micro Web. I have disabled - HTTP and Security/Secure proxy (port
80) - If
I enable it I have to turn of my web server for port conflict. If I change
my web server port I can't surf password protected pages on my
local web.
Evry thing work fine if I surf from my NT machine You will ask why I
need
to have password protected pages on my local 2 computer 1 user
web. For
educational/experimental reasons of course.

I'm really in debt with the list I've accumulate too many questions
and too few answers. Give me the occasion to answer to
somebody (ask stupid questions or mathematics) :-)

TIA
