I certainly believe that Rick is against censorhsip and so is Ronnie. I am
against government enforced censorship (which is a 2-way street -- should be a
2-way street). I think a business or an individual MUST censor and MUST
discriminate.

But what is meant by censorship? What is a free society?

There is no easy answer. It is complicated, very complicated.

But a bedrock is free expression. And I believe in that. I believe that a person
should fight for the right to freely express themself. There is nothing god-given
about it as there are as many gods as there are cultures.

Another bedrock would be the sanctity of private property. A person's ideas
and the manifestation of those ideas should be the property of that person. It is
assumed that such person has delivered any promises made to third parties to
those parties otherwise, of course, the manifestation of an idea may not belong
to that person. No one or group should have the "right" to govern a person's
private property. I certainly do not adhere to the concept that a person is born
with debt (an extremely popular idea).

EXCEPT, except.......(not to the embedded debt)

There comes a point where one person's expression interferes with the private
property of another person.

The reaction to that interference will depend on the severity, penetration of that
interference.

The follow up to that can be endless.

But I will give an example. Mr. Bill Gates has created a business which a lot of
people believe are interfering with their private property in some way; at least
this is how I understand it. How else could they begin to govern HIS private
property unless it is infringing on theirs.???

Myself, I do not feel at all "interfered" by Bill Gates. I can take his o/s and
software or leave it. I am my own person. Bill Gates owes me nothing and I
owe him nothing (I have paid for all my microsoft software -- and he has
delivered and I accepted it for the price I paid). I can close down my business
and find some other means of survival.

It is my opinion that most people don't think things though and are always
looking for the easy road.
