For consultants or investors: Our company is dedicated to provide hosting, design and maintenance for Internet services in Uruguay, currently we are not offering other services to local customers. As Uruguay does not have yet the best Internet bandwidth we mostly are resellers for other USA based companies (e.g. Webcom.com) you can find us in their customers list. In February 1999, we will be moving our company to a 4 floor building (we own it) about 600 square meters, now being totally reconstructed. The building is located in the center of the downtown area of the Montevideo City, surrounded by banks, and financial - exchange houses. Uruguay, capital & center of the Mercosur (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay & Chile as an observer) is a 3,6 million inhabitants, with about 100.000 (2.7% as 01/01/98) of them using Internet or connecting to it. This percentage is expected to grow up to 15% (414.000 inhabitants) by the year 2000. Looking at this numbers our company is going to develop it current technologies to get the most from this market grow. We: 1. � Are planning to install the latest systems for Internet dialup & dedicated access, (only 4 private companies are doing this right now, their unlimited access monthly fees are from $19.00 � $29.00. The one with most have 4500 users, the biggest part of the accesses go for the local Phone Company ($1.80 per hour), about the 40% of the total users). 2. � Are planning to host about the 30% of the total of the Uruguayan Web Sites. 3. � Are planning to develop E-business and On-line Transaction in Uruguay (Not possible yet in Uruguay) 4. � Are developing and implementing the First Regional Ad Network for Mercosur. 5. � Are planning to have the lowest prices for Internet Access & Hosting services. 6. � Are looking for foreign (European or USA) companies to partnership with us in this project. Having in consideration that we: 1. Own the Building (monthly rent value = $4.800) 2. Will cover the employees and maintenance expenses (monthly value = aprox. $8.700). 3. Will control, administer and maintain all the personnel and installed network structures. 4. Will setup, design, maintain and charge customers accounts. Interested companies must cover: 1. All necessary equipment expenses. (Servers, Routers, Switches, Cabling, etc) 2. Initial and Monthly connection fees to the Uruguayan backbone network structure (no less than 512kb/s). 3. All expenses for communication equipment and accessories needed for the proper functionality of all systems.
