I haven't tested NetMechanic. Just took a look at it once back on the old job.

No idea. I was under the impression that the WebRing site itself doesn't
get all that much traffic. Most of it goes to the Next Five pages generated
when someone clicks the NextFive link in a set of WebRing links. You can
add your site to a ring by going to the RingLeader's own site, so I imagine
there are a lot of people on WebRings that have never visited the site
itself. The vast majority of WebRing's traffic, btw, is on porn rings.
