My karma is OK. I've never sued or been sued. Have just watched others
suffer. Not being one who can afford or wants to be involved in legal
nastiness, I consider it my responsibility to protect my rights in a
contract and by following proper business procedures. If I fail to do
either (which I've done more than I'd like to admit) then I turn the other
cheek and go on about my business.
