No, I think I have misstated one of  my points.

I am in favor of open software.  I see CF as closed sofware.  To 
learn more about it I have gone online and registered to download the 
software. Unfortunately I will have to re-install the MS webserver.  
Or perhpas the apache for NT has improved. I read that IBM has 
provided a patch to improve apache on NT.

The internet was created upon the premise of open sofware. I always 
dislike any solution which requires money and closed software.  It is 
one of my complaints against Flash.  You have to buy the software to 
use it.  You are then dependent on the software company to fix bugs 
and updates.  Gee...this sounds like microsoft -- does anyone not see 
the parallels?  Before using something like Flash I would say, use 
Java or javascript (although not open as such they are free).  The 
best solution would be to use open software.

Oh well.
