I never recall personally installing ODBC. I think it was installed
when I installed windows NT.

I do recalling creating the entry for an access database. I am sure
you have been there. It is just obvious.
start->settings->ctrl panel
dblclick ODBC
given tab set on USER DSN click on add
choose access driver from list (I have many drivers and do not recall
installing any)
click finish

Now there should be a new window and the cursor should be to the
right of DATA SOURCE NAME.

Use SELECT (below database) as a sort of browse and give it the name
of the database you will use.

I know this is probably too obvious but sometimes I have missed the
obvious.

Do you have Perl on your NT? I am not trying to dissuage from ASP
which is probably bettern on NT anyway, but you could use it to test
the ODBC.

I downloaded this:

and his scripts did some amazing things. But I use DBI to connect to
the access stuff. But he showed me how to use ODBC with perl.
