If you zoom in in Photoshop and compare letters in 4.0 with 5.0, there is a
distinct clunkiness to the anti-aliasing in 5.0. And Jack's right, there
are some real hideous gaps between letters. Photoshop's kerning has never
been all that great, so why make it worse--especially when 5.0 is being
ballyhooed for its kerning controls.
