Suz, Do you really need a Perl script?
Out there, Perl Wizards, do perl can use OLE component???
There are a lot of free mail component that could be used for NT
look for ASPFreeMail, FastMail, JMail.
Try to look at http://www.activeserverpages.com ... a good starting
point to look for components... I've heard about them on a mailing
list so I don't know where to find them sorry...
There is also a very nice component included in ASP: active server
pages IDG
If I'm right you could use perl as a script language inside ASP file.
Furthermore you can mix JScript, VBScript and other scripting
languages in the same ASP file (1 principal language for main
program and more languages for developing functions)
I never installed a component, but it shouldn't be difficult just run a
windows command on the .DLL file.
If you're interested and things don't seem too hard... and you don't
find any other -only perl- solution ask me more... Currently I'm not
an NT wizard... just a short CGI programming experience, so I
need more time to figure a solution!!!!
Maybe out there there are free specifically developed guestbook
for NT.
BTW in a couple of hours I'll be at the airport finally starting my
holidays so you''ll have to be patient for the next answer...
