The Schenectady NY comes from the Zip-Code. 123xx is Schenectady NY, and 12345 is
a unique zip code that is for the main plant of General Electric, whose corporate
headquarters used to be located there. There remains a large plant in
Schenectady, but the executives opted for elsewhere some years ago when they had
fouled their nest with chemical and social pollution.
Wouldn't surprize me if the pre-filled form was filled from some cookie that they
left on your computer from the last time you visited their site. <no grin>
