Sorry! Not a prayer you'll ever get us into a formal presentation process
-:) I gave up on dog and pony shows years ago after having my ad agency.
With a large staff to feed, new business efforts sucked up so much time
that I never had time to do real creative work. I won a lot of new business
on spec creative that I'd done, then after we got the account I usually got
sucked into whatever other new business was in the works and never had time
to give adequate attention to the work that was actually paying the bills.
I proved to myself that I was capable of running a successful
creative-driven ad agency. Then I went off to be a raft guide. Ten years
have passed, and now I'm quite content to stay small, live in the country,
and take whatever work comes along. Now, when clients buy our work, they're
truly getting our work, and not junior staffers. Now that I'm off that
merry go round, I have a lot more time both to do artwork and to play.
