I exeprimented with what you suggest, but while that has the benefit of resetting the
link color it also erases the history.  I want to keep the history like in before.  In
the older versions of NS they somehow kept the information separately, perhaps in two
tables: one of history, and one for visited links.  They seemed to be independent of
each other.  I really need that functionality restored if indeed it has been dropped.
