I think the issue is not "avoid taxation" -- at least for me -- rather,
it's how do we use existing tax structures. In that sense, your MO
analogy works. I see no reason to "tax" internet commerce any
differently than we tax MO commerce.
I have yet to see any hard data on revenue losses due to MO ... but lots
of allegations ... do you have some?
But there are usage taxes proposed ... and other "new revenue streams"
--it is this that bothers me. Elected officials are ALWAYS looking for
new revenue streams, right Brett? <smile>
