Hi Joop
If by CF you mean Cold Fusion, don't forget that you will need to mirror
not only the web area and obviously the DB file but also any changes to CF
setup that may have been made via the CF administrator package such as new
DB registrations, mappings etc.
We were looking at using our 4 faculty servers not as a group with each
specialised for a particular (or group) task but making them all "one"
server to not so much provide extra capacity or speed but to help cope with
a failure of one of them more easily. The CF (http://alive.allaire.com/)
site has some lessons (Real audio and slides... very nice) on load
balancing using round robin DNS and router load balancing. I'd suggest
anyone doing CF stuff have a look at the Allaire Alive - Web training for
web developers section.
