ARGH! My rollovers are flashing me.
All you JavaScript experts, if you could please take a gander at (
http://professionals.com/~tiara ) and let me know if you know of any way to
keep the navigation squares/rectangles from flickering as the mouse rolls
over them, then I'll be in your debt forever.
My partner poked at this for several hours last night, trying various
things with mouse out and timing commands, but never came up with anything
he could make work. I don't know where to start because I've never ran into
the flashing problem before -- then again, I never designed a rollover that
was this blasted complicated before either!
I'd post some of the JS code, but it goes on forever -- some of those
squares are actually 4 separate images, plus the text rollover....so it's
better for the list bandwidth if those interested just do a View Source.
And while we're on the subject of JavaScript, have any of you heard
anything about the name change? I heard from someone that it won't be
JavaScript anymore, but the name mentioned didn't exactly stick in my weary
little brain.
