I think with WP it's much easier to find the "links off" tab. My copy
of WP8 isn't underlining things anymore, so I must have found it at some
point rather easily.
On the other issue of formatting, the WP reveal codes screens allow you
to zip right in there, get on the "right" side of the tags (inside them)
for fonts and stuff, and paste at that point. It also kindly defaults
the cursor to a point inside the tags (not like MS, which goes outside
and brings the tags from previous docs with it), so the formatting gets
wrapped (unless you bring really messy content in) in the default of the
current doc.
That's how it works form my experience, at least . . . people with a
hell of a lot more patience for MS config options might be able to make
Word do similar things.
